Focus: Advanced Functional Materials
The International Materials Forum - Frontiers in Materials Science & Technology is a top level international conference, presenting world class results from materials science and the visions for technical applications.
In 2007 the conference is focussing on Advanced Functional Materials introduced by Nobel Laureate Jean-Marie Lehn, University Louis Pasteur Strasbourg, and Stephen Forrest, University of Michigan.
Their contributions will be enhanced by invited lectures from high ranking scientists and engineers from leading institutes and companies to give an international audience a survey on the cutting edge of novel scientific approaches, developments and the potentials for innovations.
This will also include an interdisciplinary dialogue among the international experts and the high ranking audience from academia and industry. To make this most efficient, the number of participants is limited.
The conference, organized by the Centre of Excellence New Materials, the Universities of Bayreuth and Erlangen-Nuremberg as well as by the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft, will be enriched by a splendid social and cultural programme on the stage of Franconian Baroque gardens and palaces.
