In the frame of a multi scale numerical simulation the following developed constitutive models are presented:
- Shear generation model to describe Luders band propagation in steels
- Periodical shear generation model to describe the jerky-flow phenomenon in aluminum and copper alloys (Portevin-Le Chatellier effects)
- Thermo-mechanical relaxation model to describe a mechanical response of materials under different strain rates and temperatures
- Fracture model to describe cracking of brittle materials
Mechanical behavior of the following composite structures was investigated:
- Steel surface-hardened by diffusion boronizing - "Steel base-FeB coating" composite.
- Particle reinforced MMCs - Al6061-Al2O3 composite.
- Coal structure - mesovolume consisting of different coal litho-types and containing pores.
